I recently purchased my Model 64 and had been looking for upgrades. I realized that the videos and suggestions were old but since my handle still looked like the ones in these videos I thought I would try it. I found a video for upgrading the mag release and the charging handle. To start with my mag release was already "beefier" than the one I ordered so I left it alone and proceeded to the charge handle. This would not fit in the original hole so I sanded it off until it did. When I checked functionality, it worked and felt good. However, I could not get it to lock open. Then watching more of the video I discovered that some guns with synthetic stocks could cause this. The person said you could sand down the ejection side of the receiver and then it would work. I've only had this rifle a few weeks and decided that was a radical thing to try so I put the original handle back on. That's why it gets a 3; because I'm sure it would have worked if I performed the upgrade per the video.
