This Marlin rail Easily converts the factory Marlin 800, 900 and the NEW XT series bolt action rimfire rifle's dovetail so you can use Picatinny or Weaver style rings and accessories. The 2 additional slots past the end of the receiver helps with mounting long eye relief scopes when shooting from the prone position. Made from tough aircraft aluminum and then black hard coat anodized for a long lasting, durable finish. Installs easily with the 4 supplied #15 Torx screws for factory drilled & tapped receivers or with 4 set screws for non drilled & tapped receivers. Some mounts have "MARLIN" laser engraved inside the ejection port.
